Occupied Jerusalem, June 18 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained nine Palestinians on Thursday during raids across multiple areas of the West Bank, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
According to WAFA, Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus as well as the towns of Azzun and Jiyous in the Qalqilya area, arresting nine people.
In a separate incident, Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian family in the town of al-Taybeh, east of Ramallah, and cut water and electricity supplies.
On Wednesday, four Palestinians were injured and five others detained during a series of Israeli raids carried out across the West Bank, which coincided with settler attacks in the territory.
Earlier on Thursday, UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned of an increase in attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, saying some settler groups could be added to a global blacklist over alleged violations against children.
