Gaza, May 22 (SANA) Four Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Thursday in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian media reports.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA said three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces, including two in Rafah and another in the town of al-Qarara northeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Another Palestinian was killed after an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device on a group of people in the Beit Lahia area in northern Gaza, the report said.
Several others were wounded in the attack, while another Palestinian was injured after a drone strike near the Halawa camp for displaced people in Jabalia in northern Gaza.
The latest attacks came as health authorities in Gaza said the death toll from Israel’s military campaign in the enclave since Oct. 7, 2023 had risen to 72,773, with more than 172,000 others wounded.
The war has devastated large parts of Gaza, displaced most of the territory’s population and triggered repeated international warnings over worsening humanitarian conditions.
