Riyadh/Amman, May 9 (SANA) The Saudi and Jordanian Ministries of Foreign Affairs on Saturday expressed full solidarity with Bahrain and support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and stability.
In a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi foreign ministry praised the efficiency and vigilance of Bahraini security agencies in uncovering and pursuing activities it said threaten national security.
In a separate statement, Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned plots uncovered by Bahraini authorities, stressing its rejection of any actions aimed at undermining Bahrain’s security and stability, and rejecting all forms of violence and destabilization.
Earlier on Saturday, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior said security services had uncovered a network linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the “Wilayat al-Faqih” ideology during internal security operations.
