Occupied Jerusalem, May 9 (SANA) The death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,736, with 172,535 wounded, Palestinian medical sources said on Saturday.
Hospitals received five bodies over the past 24 hours, including one recovered from the rubble, plus 15 injuries, WAFA reported, citing medical sources.
Since the latest ceasefire on October 10, deaths have totaled 850 and injuries have reached 2,433, while 770 bodies have been recovered from the debris. Many victims remain trapped, as rescue teams face access restrictions.
On Thursday, an Israeli airstrike west of Gaza City killed three Palestinians and wounded others.
