Beirut, May 8 (SANA) Four people, including two paramedics, were killed and six others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Friday, according to Lebanese state media.

Lebanon’s National News Agency said two people were killed and five injured in an Israeli strike on the town of Touline in the Tyre district. The wounded were transferred to hospitals in the coastal city of Tyre.

Israeli warplanes later carried out a second strike on the same town, while another raid targeted a house in the nearby town of Tayr Felsay.

In the Hasbaya district, an Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle traveling between Kfarchouba and Kfarhamam, killing a member of Lebanon’s Civil Defense.

A separate strike in the town of Majdal Selm in the Marjayoun district killed another Civil Defense worker and wounded a second responder after directly targeting an ambulance team affiliated with the Islamic Health Society, the agency reported.

Israeli aircraft also launched strikes on the towns of Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, Shaaitiyeh and Aaitit in the Tyre district.
