Occupied Jerusalem, May 5 (SANA) The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023 has risen to 72,615, with 172,468 others injured, Palestinian health authorities said.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, hospitals in Gaza received three bodies and 11 wounded individuals over the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire declared on Oct. 10 to 834, with 2,365 injuries recorded.
The sources indicated that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have so far been unable to reach them
Earlier on Tuesday, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of people near al-Jalaa roundabout in the al-Ayoun area, north of Gaza City.
