Beirut, May 1 (SANA) The Lebanese Health Ministry announced Friday that the death toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 2,618.
According to a statement from the ministry’s Emergency Operations Center carried by the Lebanese National News Agency, the cumulative toll now stands at 2,618 dead and 8,094 wounded as of May 1.
On Friday alone, six people, including a woman, were killed and 16 others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting towns in southern Lebanon.
The strikes mark repeated violations of a ceasefire agreement declared on April 16, escalating regional tensions and threatening efforts to stabilize the area.
