Istanbul, April 25 (SANA) Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, said Friday that Israel now poses direct threat to global security, stressing that its policies, that deepen conflicts, affect the entire region, and their effects go beyond borders.
Speaking at Oxford University during an official visit to the UK, Fidan said the state of uncertainty and successive crises in recent years have pushed the international system towards the point of collapse, and the region was the most affected by that, according to Anadolu Agency.
“Iran war has deeply shaken our vision, and dealt a strong blow to global well-being, security and stability,” Fidan added, explaining that the most prominent lessons learned from this war are that “the Israeli regime’s attempt to destabilize the region has transcended local borders and has now become a direct threat to global security
The minister pointed out that Türkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has developed a special model of leadership diplomacy, stressing his country’s commitment to mediation in crises on solid foundations.
