Washington, April 19 (SANA) U.S. Vice President JD Vance is set to travel to Islamabad accompanied by advisers to President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to hold talks related to Iran, a White House official said Sunday.
The official said Vance, who led the first round of direct talks lasting 21 hours last Saturday, will head the U.S. delegation to Pakistan alongside Witkoff and Kushner, according to the Associated Press.
Earlier in the day, Trump said a U.S. delegation would travel to Islamabad for negotiations concerning Iran, urging Tehran to accept the proposed agreement.
The first round of talks, held in Islamabad last Saturday, ended without an agreement, with key differences remaining unresolved.
