Occupied Jerusalem, April 14 (SANA) Israeli forces killed a Palestinian in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, and detained 25 others during operations across the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on Tuesday, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
WAFA reported that Israeli warplanes struck the al-Alami area in Beit Lahia, resulting in the death of one Palestinian.
Israeli forces also carried out demolitions of homes in the Abu Zeitoun area of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza and in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City. The operations coincided with artillery shelling targeting eastern parts of Gaza City, while military vehicles opened fire toward areas in central Gaza.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces conducted raids in several cities and towns, including Nablus, Hebron, Tubas and areas around Ramallah and Jerusalem, ransacking homes and assaulting residents before detaining 25 people, according to WAFA.
Separately, dozens of settlers entered the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem under the protection of Israeli forces and performed Talmudic rituals described as provocative, the agency added.
