Kuwait City, March 2 (SANA) Several U.S. warplanes crashed inside Kuwaiti territory, but all crew members survived and were taken to hospital for medical evaluation, Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said Monday.
In a statement, the ministry said the crew members’ condition was stable. A spokesperson added that search and rescue teams were deployed immediately after the incident and that the pilots were evacuated in coordination with U.S. forces.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, the ministry said, urging the public to rely on official sources for information.
The incident occurred amid heightened regional tensions following a U.S.-Israeli strike on targets inside Iran. Since then, several Arab countries, including Kuwait, have reported missile and drone attacks from Iran, resulting in casualties and property damage.
