Cairo, Feb. 28 (SANA) The Arab League on Saturday strongly condemned Iran’s missile attacks on multiple Arab countries, describing them as a “blatant violation” of the sovereignty of states seeking to preserve regional stability.
According to a statement cited by Egypt’s Al-Ahram Gate, the League’s General Secretariat said the Iranian strikes on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan represented a serious escalation threatening security and stability in the region.
The League expressed full solidarity with the targeted Arab states and voiced support for the measures they are taking to defend their territories. It warned that the rapidly deteriorating situation poses significant risks to regional stability.
The condemnation followed a wave of Iranian missile attacks on Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, launched in response to a joint U.S.–Israeli strike on Iran earlier in the day—a development that has drawn widespread international criticism.
