Amman, SANA- Jordan strongly condemned Israeli occupation army’s expansion of its ground aggression in Gaza as a “flagrant violation” of international and humanitarian laws.
Jordanian foreign ministry reaffirmed in a statement the Kingdom’s absolute rejection of the “brutal Israeli aggression,” stressing that the ground expansion constitutes a clear violation of international law and UN resolutions.
The ministry added that the aggression pushes the region into “further cycles of violence and conflict, threatening regional and international peace and security”.
It called on the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to immediately halt its aggression on Gaza, ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip, and stop the dangerous escalation that worsens the humanitarian situation.
