UN Warns: Israeli aggression, Famine driving Gaza toward Humanitarian Catastrophe

New York, SANA- United Nations has warned that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza City, in light of ongoing famine there, will push to a devastating catastrophe.

UN News Center quoted the Spokesman, Stéphane Dujarric, as saying in a statement: “According to information provided by workers supporting displacement sites, the continued aggression on Gaza City, leaves horrific humanitarian consequences for people living there”.

Dujarric added: “High temperatures and insufficient water supplies, hindering transport trucks from reaching displacement sites, all of these exacerbating the unsanitary conditions”.

The Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a statement “The staff of UN and their partners working in Gaza still face the obstacles”.

The statement added that in order to support broken health system in Gaza, the Un and its partners provided humanitarian and food aid, in addition to medical devices and aid.
