Brussels, SANA- The European Commission condemned on Tuesday the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza Strip, stressing that the attack was “completely unacceptable.”
“Civilians and journalists must be protected under international law,” Reuters quoted UNHCR spokesman Anouar El Anouni as saying at a press conference.
“Civilians in Gaza are suffering from a very long time, time has come to break the violence cycle”., El Anouni added.
On Monday ,20 Palestinians, including five journalists, were killed in a direct Israeli airstrike targeting the emergency room at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The attack was widely condemned by Arab and international observers.
