Jordan calls for urgent international action to stop humanitarian disaster in Gaza

Amman, SANA- Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi called on the international community to take immediate action, end the serious humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Strip and stop the starvation policy practiced by “Israel” against Palestinians in the Strip.

“Using starvation as a weapon is a war crime that can be stopped through the tools provided by international law to hold Israel accountable,” Safadi posted on the platform.

He stressed the need to force “Israel” for an immediate flow of food, water, infant formula and medicine into the Gaza Strip, and enable UN humanitarian agencies to receive and distribute aid after rejecting all attempts to persuade an end to its inhumane treatment of Palestinians.

Safadi stressed that the Israeli war on Gaza Strip must end, and that all parties must accept the proposed ceasefire agreement, saying: “Enough killing, enough impunity, enough violation of human values and international law”.
