Latakia people: Jazira is an inseparable part of Syrian territory

Martyrs’ Square in Latakia witnessed a protest Friday against the practices and violations committed by the “SDF” against the people of Syria’s Jazira region, reaffirming that Jazira is an inseparable part of Syrian territory.

One of the protest organizers, Sultan Diab, told SANA’s correspondent that the demonstration was held in solidarity with the people of Jazira and to denounce the “SDF’s” repressive practices.

For his part, protest participant Firas Sidawi stated that the demonstration affirms the unity of Syrians in the face of any attempt to divide the country, noting that all Syrians have suffered deprivation and injustice under the former regime and fully understand what their brothers in Jazira are enduring.

Citizen Ubaida Amin, from Deir Ezzor, explained that the participants aimed through this protest to amplify the voice of Jazira’s residents in rejecting the repressive and separatist actions of the “SDF”.
