Aleppo, Aug. 4 (SANA) The administration of Sheikh Najjar Industrial City in Aleppo signed an investment contract on Tuesday with Asphix Trading company to establish the first integrated industrial mall in the second-category industrial zone under a 25-year Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) system.
Director General of Sheikh Najjar Industrial City Youssef al-Fattouh said the project will enhance services provided to investors, industrialists, and workers while supporting economic and industrial development in Aleppo.
Head of the Aleppo Branch of the Syrian Investment Authority Hazem Lutfi said the project covers 3,200 square meters, consists of three floors for displaying industrial tools, equipment, and supplies, and will be completed within two years.
Asphix Trading representative Bassam Ghabbash said the mall will include commercial offices, indoor and outdoor exhibition halls, warehouses, and service facilities, helping connect suppliers with industrial facilities, particularly in the textile and iron sectors.
He added that the project will benefit from specialized international expertise in operating industrial and commercial centers to provide integrated services for investors and factories.
Asphix Trading is a Dubai-based company specializing in international and general trade and is registered with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).
The project is part of efforts to develop infrastructure and logistics services in Sheikh Najjar Industrial City and facilitate industrial facilities’ access to production inputs.
Established in 2004, Sheikh Najjar Industrial City is among Syria’s largest industrial cities, covering approximately 4,412 hectares and hosting diverse sectors, including textiles, food industries, chemicals, and engineering.
