Kigali, May 14 (SANA) Strengthening its presence on the global economic stage, Syria officially participated on Thursday, in the 13th edition of the Africa CEO Forum held in the Rwandan capital, Kigali.
The Syrian delegation, representing the Syrian Investment Authority (SIA), is led by its Director General, Talal al-Hilali. The two-day forum brings together heads of state, top CEOs, and international decision-makers to explore investment frontiers and enhance Africa’s role in the global economy.
The Syrian participation comes within the framework of efforts to enhance Syria’s presence on the international economic stage and build channels of communication with major investors, business leaders, and decision-makers, in a way that contributes to expanding opportunities for economic and investment cooperation between Syria and African countries, while strengthening openness toward regional and international markets.
The Syrian Investment Authority also aims, through its participation, to engage with the international business community, explore promising investment partnerships, and showcase the latest developments in Syria’s investment environment, along with opportunities available across various economic and development sectors.
The Africa CEO Forum remains the continent’s premier platform for fostering private-sector integration and public-private dialogue. By uniting thousands of business leaders and policymakers, it serves as a critical engine for driving intra-African trade and sustainable development.
