Cairo, May.3 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani and Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar discussed in Cairo with Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmad al-Wakil ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Syria and Egypt.
The meeting focused on means of expanding bilateral cooperation in the economic and commercial sectors and explored mechanisms to promote stronger coordination between business institutions and the private sector in both countries.
The talks also addressed opportunities to broaden trade exchange and encourage investment partnerships in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to deepen Syrian-Egyptian economic relations and advance cooperation between public and private sector institutions in the two countries.
