Damascus, April 10 (SANA) Turkish companies specializing in poultry technologies, feed production and agricultural equipment are taking part prominently in the 4th Syria International Exhibition for Agricultural Mechanization, Livestock and Agricultural Production Supplies “Agro Syria,” reflecting growing interest in the Syrian market and its investment opportunities.
Murad Gön, representative of a Turkish poultry cage manufacturing company, told SANA that the Syrian market offers broad prospects for cooperation between Syrian and Turkish sides in the agricultural sector, noting that participation in the exhibition provides an important platform to enhance this cooperation. He added that company studies indicate significant potential for expansion in Syria, with Turkish expertise in poultry production capable of supporting the development of the local agricultural sector through technology transfer and partnerships.

Erhan Memco, director of a Turkish feed machinery company, said the presence of specialized firms at the exhibition allows Syrian investors to explore the latest technologies in feed production, stressing that establishing local factories would support the national economy and advance the sector.

Moatasem al-Shami, representative of a Turkish poultry equipment company, said participation reflects strong interest in the Syrian market and its opportunities, expressing hope for broader involvement in future editions. Mahmoud Sarhan added that the exhibition enabled direct engagement with breeders and investors interested in benefiting from the technologies presented.

The exhibition, which opened Thursday evening, features more than 120 local, Arab and international companies. It is organized by Meshhadani International Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and relevant unions, and will continue until April 12, opening daily from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with free transportation available.
