Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a low superficial air pressure accompanied by northwestern air current in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general; local rain showers are expected in various areas.
The Department warned against the formation of frost in the mountains and fog in most inland areas.
The winds will be southeastern of low speed, while the sea waves will be of low in amplitude.
Rain amounts in the Syrian provinces during the past 24 hours to 7 o’clock in the morning according to the rain bulletin issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms were as follows: 30mm in Damascus and its countryside, 14,5mm in Sweida, 15mm in Daraa, 28mm in Quneitra, 13,9mm in Homs, 16,4mm in Hama, 6mm in Tartous and 4,5mm in Aleppo.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 11/03, Daraa 12/04, Homs 08/03, Hama 09/02, Lattakia 16/09, Aleppo 08/02 and Deir Ezzor 12/02.
