Aleppo, SANA – Members of the People’s Assembly representing Aleppo discussed during a meeting on Thursday the possibility of forming a local reconciliation committee in the province in order to contribute to consolidating security and stability, after East Aleppo was recently cleared of terrorists.

The meeting was held with Head of the People Assembly’s National Reconciliation Committee Dr. Kheir Eddin al-Sayyed and the leadership of Aleppo branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party.
The MPs affirmed that the aim of the formation of a reconciliation committee in Aleppo in the coming period is to clear the remaining areas in the province of arms and militants, help misled people get back on the right track and return to their normal lives and support the Syrian Arab Army in establishing security and stability.
