Damascus, SANA- The Research Legal International Strategic Symposium on Sunday started activities under the title “The Syrian National Sovereignty in the Face of the US-Led International Collation and the Responsibility of the UN and the Security Council towards Applying the International Humanitarian Law.”
The Symposium is organized by the Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the Ministries of Information and Culture.
In a speech during the opening of the Symposium, Minister of Justice Najim al-Ahmed said that the Ministry will not spare any effort in its legal battle for prosecuting the states and persons who have been responsible for shedding the blood of the Syrians and the crimes of the US-led collation against one of the positions of the Syrian Arab Army last September.
The Symposium comes in preparation for the International Conference on Terrorism and to affirm the steadfastness of the Syrian people in face of terrorism and its backers.
Participants in the Symposium will discuss axes related to the role played by the US, Turkey and France in the region, the alliance between the Gulf States and the Zionist entity and the responsibility of the UN and the Security Council which support the terrorist organizations.
The Symposium also sheds light on issues related to the role of the international organizations and the Security Council towards the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people, in addition to the ways of prosecuting the states and persons who are involved in shedding the blood of the Syrian people.
