New WFP humanitarian assistance arrives in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA-A New batch of humanitarian food aid provided by the World Food Program (WFP) arrived on Tuesday to Qamishli International Airport through the air lift that carries aid from Damascus International Airport.

Head of the WFP bureau in Qamishli Afraa Nouh told SANA that the aid includes 2790 food packages, 2790 bags of rice and 1674 packages of vegetable oil.

According to Nouh, the humanitarian assistance via the air lift will continue along the current month.

Non-food aid including 1832 family tents, 3278 pieces of children winter clothes and 7 electricity generators arrived to Hasaka over the past week.
