Damascus, SANA – An outstanding musical performance for Students of Solhi al-Wadi Institute during a charity concert organized at al-Shahbandar Palace Hotel in the Old City of Damascus.

Celebrating Eid al-Adha, the musical concert included pieces of western classical music, and Arab music with the aim of introducing the audience, especially children, to unique musical instruments such as the flute and Clarinet.

Director of Solhi al-Wadi Institute, Fadi Atiyeh said that the event aims at giving children the chance to listen to classical music, introduce musical instruments to them and teach them musical concepts in an exciting way.

The celebration included distributing in-kind gifts to the sons and daughters of martyrs as well as displaced children. Moreover, Yasmeen al-Sham theatrical group presented funny comedy sketches and characters.
