Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is still affected by a seasonal Indian low pressure accompanied with a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be hot in general and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The winds will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will drop to become around average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will remain hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya areas, according to the bulletin.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/21, Daraa 35/17, Homs 34/22, Lattakia 33/25, Aleppo 39/22 and Deir Ezzor 44/27.
