Wednesday weather forecast: Temperatures still above average

Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya (desert) areas.

The winds will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed, while sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average and the weather will be relatively hot.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/23, Daraa 36/21, Homs 33/23, Lattakia 31/27, Aleppo 37/23 and Deir Ezzor 41/25.
