Damascus, SANA-Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad-the Commander-in-Chief of the army and armed forces-, Defense Minister , Lieutenant General Fahd Jasem al-Freij paid a field visit to inspect the army forces working in Aleppo.
General Command of the army and armed forces said in a statement on Tuesday that During the visit, General al-Freij, also Deputy commander-in-Chief of the army and armed forces, listened to a detailed explanation, by field commanders, on the nature of the combat activities and the level of readiness to carry out the needed missions against terrorist organizations.
The army’s general command added that Defense Minister affirmed to the army soldiers the determination of the army’s command to fulfill the process of securing Aleppo , defeating the terrorists and foiling their schemes.
It concluded by saying that the army’s soldiers affirmed their readiness to do their best for the sake of Syria, its people and leader to achieve victory over enemies of Syria.
