Beirut, SANA – Chairman of the Iranian Shura Council’s Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security Alaeddin Boroujerdi said that the Syrian Arab army’s achievements on the ground provide evidence on the collapse of terrorist groups and the regional and western powers which sponsored and supported them since the very beginning of war on Syria five years ago.
Meeting Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad in Beirut on Monday, Boroujerdi said that the victories made by the Syrian army and its allies in the Resistance axis prove the rightness of Iran’s strategic choice to support the Resistance in confronting all terrorist attempts.
He highlighted the key role of the Resistance in preserving security and stability and combating terrorism in Lebanon and the whole region.
Boroujerdi’s two-day visit to Lebanon coincided with the anniversary of the Lebanon’s Armed Forces Day and the resistance’s victory over the Zionist entity in 2006 July War.
