Tehran, SANA – The UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan De Mistura discussed in Tehran with Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari means of pushing forward the political settlement for the crisis in Syria.
De Mistura is also to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to discuss the latest developments of the crisis in Syria and the resumption of the intra-Syrian dialogue in Geneva.
De Mistura announced after his tripartite meeting with the Russian and US delegations in Geneva last week that he is seeking to hold a new round of talks of the intra-Syrian dialogue before the end of next August.
