Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise nearing average as the country is affected by high air pressure accompanied by northwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and misty in the eastern and Badiya areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of medium speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 21/08, Daraa 20/08, Homs 20/06, Hama 22/08, Hasaka 20/09, Lattakia 23/12, Aleppo 20/06 and Deir Ezzor 23/08.
