Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain around average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied with northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday Bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and the weather will be relatively cold during the night.
The department warned of fog forming in some inland areas and of frost in mountainous heights.
The winds will be changeable to northwesterly of light speed, and the sea waves will be of low height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 19/9, Aleppo 18/7, Hama 20/6, Homs 18/5 and Lattakia 21/12.
During the past 24 hours, there were rainfalls in the northeastern Hasaka province reaching up to 45mm in Tal Barak.
