Turkish CHP calls upon AKP government to put an end to its interference in Syria

Ankara, SANA- Haluk Koc, Deputy Chairman of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party “CHP” called upon the Justice and Development Party “AKP” for putting an end to its interference in Syria, stopping all forms of support to the terrorist organizations and changing its foreign policy.

“We warned the government of AKP since the beginning of the crisis, and we told them that the sectarian policy which they adopt regarding Syria is very dangerous, and that supporting terrorist organizations in Syria and the imaginative projects and schemes will bring only problems to Turkey on the internal and foreign levels,” Koc said in a press conference following the meeting of the CHP Central Committee.

He referred to the problems which have started to face Turkey at its borders with Syria and Iraq due to the involvement of Erdogan’s regime and its support to the terrorist organizations in both countries.

Kuc indicated that the self-claimed leaders of the terrorist organizations in Syria continually meet in the Turkish cities and the government of the AKP provides all forms of support to them to practice more acts of killing and criminality in Syria.

He called upon the AKP government to immediately give up its current foreign policy which has proved its complete failure, holding the government responsible for the terrorist bombing which rocked the Turkish town of Suruc on Monday and the previous terrorist bombing in al-Rihaniya city.

On Monday 30 people at least were killed and scores were injured in a terrorist bombing targeted a gathering of f around 300 youths from the Socialist Youth Associations Federation (SGDF) who came from across Turkey and gathered at the Amara Cultural Center in Suruc to express solidarity with the Syrian Ain al-Arab city.
