480 food baskets distributed in Asyla town in Hama

Hama, SANA- The Municipal Council of Asyla town in the western countryside of the central Hama province on Tuesday distributed 480 food baskets among the families of martyrs and wounded army personnel and the families displaced at hands of Takfiri terrorists.

Head of the Municipal Council Ali Turki Ali told SANA that the food baskets provide a considerable part of the food materials for these families in the holy month of Ramadan and with the approach of Eid al-Fitr.

Ali underlined the necessity of unifying efforts to provide the basic needs of these families in a way that would enhance social ties between all the spectrums of the society, particularly the families of the martyrs and wounded army personnel who sacrificed to preserve the dignity and pride of the homeland.

Last June, 340 food baskets were distributed among families of the martyrs, the missing and the wounded, in addition to the needy families in Asyla town.
