Palestinian FM: Combating terrorism not possible without Syria

Moscow, SANA- Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki affirmed that combating terrorism in the region requires that all countries affected by it, particularly Syria, unite efforts.

Speaking to SANA reporter in Moscow on Thursday, al-Maliki said “it is not possible to speak about fighting the evil without engaging the party affected by it, particularly Syria.”

Al-Maliki called for forming an extensive front involving all so that “we can triumph over our common enemy.”

Al-Maliki pointed to the futility of the US-led coalition against ISIS which has failed so far to stop the expansion of the terrorist organization despite all its military superiority which, he said, makes it necessary to reconsider its composition, priorities and goals.

Terrorism is a threat to all and no one should monopolize the right to confront it, he added.
