Russian President’s Assistant calls on the international community to support dialogue with Damascus

Moscow, SANA-Russian President’s Assistant, Yuri Ushakov called on the international community to support dialogue between Syria and other countries encountering the extremists and terrorists, asserting that the US-led air strikes are insufficient to solve the problem of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorist organization.

“Kremlin is counting on this stance to be supported in the world”, Ushakov told Russian Tass News Agency Sunday.

He pointed out that after eliminating terrorists and re-establishing control on the liberated Syrian territories by the Syrian government, Russia and other sides concerned will help to conduct free Parliamentarian election and form a government of national confidence supervised by international observers.

On Saturday, Russian Foreign Ministry highlighted in statement that after more than one year on establishing the so called “international coalition” to smash ISIS terrorist organization, the Syrian Army and “Peoples Protection Units” are still bearing the basic burden of encountering terrorists because of using the double standards policy by the western partners and ignoring the norms of the international law related to fighting terrorism.
