Palmyra, SANA – A number of civilians were killed in mortar and rocket shells fired by terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) at Palmyra city, Homs.
A source in the city told SANA that ISIS terrorists targeted residential neighborhoods last night and on Monday morning with a number of shells, leaving a number of civilians killed and others wounded.
The shells caused material damage to scores of houses and shops and the infrastructure in the areas where the shells hit.
Electricity technician killed in terrorist attack in Aleppo
An electricity technician was killed in a terrorist attack on an electricity workshop on the western outskirts of Aleppo city.
A source at Aleppo Electricity Company said terrorists targeted with a mortar shell a repair workshop affiliated to the company while they were fixing a malfunction in the power grid.
The source said that the attack resulted in the death of one of the workers, seriously wounding two others.
