Provinces, SANA- Army units on Saturday established control over Khattab hill east of Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb countryside, killing scores of terrorists in many areas across the country, destroying their hideouts, gatherings and weaponry.
Daraa
A Unit of the army and the armed forces clashed with a terrorist group which came from Dael town and launched an armed attack against the locals in Khirbat Ghazala village in the northeastern countryside of southern Daraa province, a military source told SANA Saturday.
The source added that all the members of the Takfiri terrorist group were killed in the clashes and all their arms, ammunition and vehicles were destroyed some of which were equipped with heavy machineguns.
Meanwhile an army unit foiled an attempt by a terrorist group to attack a military point in al-Hirak town, 30 km to the northeast, killing most of the group’s members and destroying their vehicles.
Units of the army also destroyed a convoy of the terrorist organizations’ vehicles between the village of Um al-Awsaj and al-Harra city in addition to killing a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Tal al-Mal in the northwestern countryside of Daraa.
Units of the army and armed forces killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Tiha and Kafer Shams in the countryside Daraa.
Quneitra
In Quneitra countryside, a military source told SANA that an army unit killed scores of the Takfiri terrorists and injured others, in addition to destroying their vehicles and killing all terrorists onboard in Mas’hara town.
Sweida
Likewise, An army unit killed and injured a number of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists in a special operation against their gatherings in the eastern countryside of the southern province of Sweida.
A convoy of the ISIS terrorists’ vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns, was destroyed, adding that a number of them were also killed and injured to the east of al-Rashidah village.
Homs
Meanwhile, the army killed a number of terrorists, injured many others, destroying their vehicles, weapons and ammunition in the villages of al-Kharijeh, Arshouneh and al-Sultaniyeh in the eastern countryside of Homs.
A number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and others affiliated to the so-called Jish al-Tawhid , Homs legion, Ahl al-Suna and al-Jamaa, Ajnad Homs and Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement were killed and wounded in a special military operation against their gatherings near the Northern School in Kafer Laha village in al-Houla area to the north of Homs city.
Army targeted terrorists’ concentrations near Shaer and Jazal oil fields in Homs’ eastern countryside, killing a number of them and destroying their vehicles.
Lattakia
A military source said that dozens of terrorists were killed or injured during military operations against their gatherings on the axis of al-Nabi Younes Mount in the northern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia.
The source added that the air force in the army eliminated terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of Samfouka, Jub al-Ahmar, Rwieset Khandaq al-Seterk, al-Mogheiria snd Tertyah in the northern countryside of the province.
Many vehicles of Jabhat al- Nusra and the so-called “the Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” were destroyed during the operations.
Aleppo
Army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in al-Nashad, al-Amryeh, Jam’yat al-Zahraa, al-Lairamon, Bab al-Hadid, Aghior, al-Sukkari, Kifr Naha, al-Sheikh Maqsoud and near the air force academy in Aleppo and its countryside, destroying two of the terrorists’ vehicles and killing and injuring a number of them.
Hama
Army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles, killing and injuring a number of them in Kifr Zeita and Skeik in Hama countryside.
Idleb
Army targeted terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings in al-Mintar, al-Sheikh Yaseen, Bzeit, al-Mshirfeh, Qartala, Maqla Bzeit, al-Taman’a, al-Marj al-Akhdar, Qaminas, Abu al-Dohour, Tal Salmo, al-Hamidyeh, Hamimat, al-Shwiha, and al-Houta in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles.
