Damascus, SANA – Spring rain showers are expected in different areas across the country and the wind will be northwesterly moderate in the evening, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday forecast that temperatures will drop to become 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Weather Forecaster Shadi Jawish told SANA that the misty low air pressure will recede during the evening as the wind will become
northeasterly to northwesterly, indicating that local rain showers are expected in different areas.
Tomorrow, rain showers are expected over some of the western areas and the temperatures will rise to become around average, while on Saturday the skies will be clear in general and the temperatures will be around average.
