Two terrorist bombings in Baghdad kill 11 people

Baghdad, SANA Eleven Iraqis were killed and 23 others were injured in two terrorist bombings in western and southern Baghdad on Tuesday.

Sources at the Iraqi Police Command said a car bomb parked in a commercial area in al Mahmoudia town, south of Iraq’s capital, exploded, claiming the lives of seven people and injuring 13 others.

Hours later, another car bomb went off in a parking lot outside al-Yarmouk Hospital in western Baghdad, leaving four people dead and ten others injured.

No one has so far claimed responsibility for the blasts, but ISIS and other terrorist organizations constantly launch terrorist attacks against civilians and army and police personnel in Iraq.

A large-scale operation has been launched by the Iraqi government to eradicate terrorism in the country.
