Amman, SANA-The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack that targeted St. Elias Church in Damascus, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens.
In a statement Sunday, the Ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, affirmed Jordan’s full support and solidarity with sisterly Syria in this painful attack, and its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that seek to destabilize security and stability.
Ambassador Qudah also reiterated Jordan’s support for the Syrian government’s efforts to combat terrorism and preserve the security, unity, and stability of Syria, as well as the safety of its territory and citizens.
He expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Syrian government and people, as well as to the families of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
