Damascus, SANA- Information Minister, Dr. Hamza Al-Mustafa, called for integrating theoretical and practical aspects to prepare media men, stressing the important role of professional media in promoting citizenship values and serving society.
“Media work should be based on objectivity and professionalism,” the Minister said during his meeting today with students of the Faculty of Information, Damascus University, describing field application in media institutions as an essential pillar for preparing students to the upcoming media transformation term.
He added that the government is working to provide a media environment based on availability and constructive oversight, calling for qualitative content that contributes to developing societal awareness.
