Two Lebanese smugglers arrested, large quantity of drugs seized in Aleppo

Damascus, SANA- The Anti-Narcotics branch in Aleppo arrested two Lebanese nationals involved in drug smuggling and trafficking, and seized a large quantity of drugs in their possession.

In a statement quoted by the Ministry of Interior’s Telegram channel, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department, Brigadier General Khaled Eid, explained that the operation took place while the two individuals were trying to smuggle a large quantity of drugs, and resulted in the seizure of an amount estimated at 800 kilograms of hashish and 200,000 narcotic pills that were in their possession.
