Syria wins gold, seven bronzes at Kickboxing World Cup

Ankara, SANA- Syria’s national kickboxing team won a gold medal and seven bronze ones through its participation at Kickboxing World Cup held in Antalya, with a large participation of other countries from all over the world.

The athlete, Ghaith al-Shahabi, won the gold medal for the U-81 kg weight for junior category, meanwhile the other athletes won the bronze ones.

In a statement to SANA, President of Syrian Arab Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA Federation, Saria al-Jazairi, noted to the remarkable skill levels of our national team athletes.

Al-Jazairi also hailed the distinguished participation of Para atheltes in the championship, which is considered a strong message represents will, determination despite all circumstances.
