Syria Participates in the opening of Arab-European Cities Dialogue Forum in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, SANA- Governor of Damascus, Maher Mohammed Marwan, participated in the opening of the Arab-European Cities Dialogue Forum, organized by the Riyadh Region Municipality in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the slogan “City Partnerships for a Better Future,” In cooperation with the Arab Urban Development Institute, the PLATFORMA affiliated with the Union of Municipalities, and Association of European Municipalities and Regions, and The Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG).

Damascus Governorate said on its Telegram channel that the participation comes within the framework of keenness to enhance cooperation, partnerships, and exchange of experiences in the field of governance and urban development, which contributes to supporting development paths and achieving sustainable development at the city level.

The Forum which was launched Sunday will continue for three days, more than 100 mayors from Arab and European countries, as well as international organizations and development institutions attend the forum.
