Algiers, SANA-Algeria condemned in the strongest terms the military operations carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in Rafah, southern Gaza.
“the escalation by the Israeli occupation is extremely dangerous, causes an unprecedented number of victims and a large-scale and dimensional humanitarian catastrophe, and confirms that Israel continues its war of genocide against the Palestinian people and their displacement”, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad said in a statement.
“By invading Rafah, Israel confirms that it does not care about international resolutions regarding an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and finding a political solution to end this conflict,” the statement added.
In the statement Algeria, called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action to pressure Israel’s allies and stop providing it with the means and reasons to continue its war against the Palestinians.
Israeli occupation stormed Rafah crossing yesterday and prevented the entry of humanitarian aid and fuel through it and closed it completely, while UN organizations warned of a catastrophic situation that will result from this aggression.
