Damascus, SANA- The temperature will remain from 2 to 3 degrees Celsius lower than average as the country is being affected by a low air pressure accompanied by cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general and it will become cloudy sometimes and rain showers are expected over most areas.
The rains will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes particularly in the coastal, northern and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be from western to southwestern with moderate speed reaching 65 kms sometimes and the height of waves will be from medium to high.
Tomorrow, the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected over the mountains and the northern areas while the temperature will remain below average and the speed of waves will be high.
Several amounts of rainfalls were registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: 48 mm in Lattakia, 6 mm in Homs, 38 mm in Hama, 17 mm in Tartous and in 17 mm in Aleppo.
