Riyadh, SANA- Tourism Minister, Mohammad Rami Martini, discussed on Thursday with his Lebanese, Omani and Iraqi counterparts means of enhancing cooperation to revive the tourist sector, exchanging delegations, experiences and training.
The Syrian Minister meetings with Arab counterparts came on the sidelines of the forty-seventh meeting of the World Tourism Organization Committee for the Middle East and the inauguration of the Middle East Regional Office and the Tourism Activation Conference being held in Riyadh on May 26th and 27th.
Minister Martini discussed with the Arab Ministers the situation of tourism and the possibility of exchanging experiences in the fields of tourism and hotel training and rehabilitation.
He briefed them on the various tourist investment opportunities in Syria and the facilities provided to Arab and foreign investors.
He also called on his counterparts to participate in the next investment forum in Syria, stressing the importance of enlacing and developing tourism cooperation.
