Damascus, SANA – Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad on Saturday met a delegation from the executive committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) headed by Azzam al-Ahmad.
During the meeting, Mikda asserted that the Palestinian cause will remain the main cause for Syria despite all the Western pressure and terrorist war, stressing the need for bolstering Palestinian unity of rank.
He also denounced the recent Israeli transgressions against Al Aqsa Mosque.
For his part, al-Ahmad said the Palestinian people support Syria’s people, army, and leadership, hoping that Syria will recover as soon as possible.
